Purchasing Tips

Purchasing a memorial is unlike any other purchase you will make. When most families walk in our door they either have a general idea of what they are looking for or they are starting from scratch. This page strives to guide both groups of people through the process to help you design the perfect memorial for your loved one.

Step 1. It is important to know if you are looking for a single monument (for one person) or a double monument (for two people).

Step 2. We need to know what style of memorial you have in mind. It is normal to feel uncertain about the style. We will be glad to work with you to determine which styles your cemetery will allow and what will work best based on your design needs.

Step 3. Gather and bring in your favorite photos, stories, writings or other objects that help describe who your loved one was and what was important to him or her. These items will help provide inspiration for the monument design. Areas of life you might consider include faith, family, hobbies, work, military service, community service, awards and accomplishments and so much more.

Step 4. Contact us with any questions or concerns that you may have, or if you simply need help coming up with design ideas. Our staff is friendly, understanding and ready to help.

Shopping Guide

When you choose to create a memorial for a loved one, you are choosing to tell their story- forever.

Memorials serve three primary purposes:

1. Permanent historical record
Memorials provide historical information such as a persons name, dates of life, relationships & contributions

2. Place of remembrance
Memorials provide a place for family and friends to go and mourn, remember and heal.

3. Tribute and final gift
By placing a permanent memorial in honor of a loved one, you are giving them the gift of never being forgotten. You are acknowledging that their life mattered and made a difference in this world.

Because your memorial is a permanent structure, it is important that your memorial be permanently beautiful. That means that it would look just as beautiful today, tomorrow and forever.
